Do you guys have a preferred area of Killarney to camp in? We hope to get back there (car camping) next year with a number of families.
Also, isn’t there a restaurant and a general store just in town, not too far away from the park?

Herbert Fisheries is a must for fish and chips – located in a pretty harbor, with boats coming in and out and cozy tables outdoor if you prefer, they serve local fish, freshly fried. Delicious!
As for car camping, choose the George Lake campground. It provides access to the trail leading to the Crack – you shouldn’t miss that!. It’s a day hike and the view from the top is priceless!
