With beautiful views and great activities to explore and do within the park as well as outside it, Bon Echo is a spectacular choice!
Here you go:
we have a great compilation of best places to camp in Ontario, as recommended by fellow campers.
Presquile is ALWAYS a great choice! Beautiful beaches, great hiking and biking trails, and not too far from civilization!

The further north you go the better the camp grounds. Kakabeka Falls, Halfway Lake, Quetico park to name a few.
Personally I love The Pinery. The park is on Lake Huron with it’s own beach and it’s just down the road from Grand Bend. It even has a great selection for winter camping. I stayed there just before new years in a yurt for once and I was perfectly warm.
I really love Algonquin Park great campsites for ourbacking and also Bon Echo is great place as well?
We have always enjoyed our time at Point Farms Prov Park , near Goderich. They have a dog beach. The main beach and surrounding beach is always well kept. The sites are great. They have radio free (no noise) and radio sites. The trails are well used too. Handy Market at the road in too, with good ice cream. Goderich is just 10 minuets south if you forget anything. Great Area
